The heart of the new Bluetooth-USB-Serial-TTL
Penta-ports Ti-GPS is the Sirf Star 3 / LP chipset, both designed
and produced in the USA. This popular and proven chipset is an excellent
choice and the basis of many other GPS receivers, however our difference
is in the receive sensitivity. Many other receivers have a maximum
signal strength C/No ratio of 39~42 only, based on field tests.
The AyAy Sir Ti-GPS, on the other hand, has a MINIMUM C/No ratio
in a natural American environment with clear skies C/No ratio >
45.
